Wetlands and seas full of nature, castle towns full of history ... Takanabe town is rich in attractions
It was opened in the “Meirin Park” parking lot next to “Takanabe Onsen Meirin no Yu”. It is also an attractive zone adjacent to the "Takanabe Marshland", where rare flora and fauna inhabit including the Haccho dragonfly and the egret, and "Shikisainomura", where the nostalgic rural scenery of the 1955s remains.
Honcho is located along the Hyuga Nada in central Miyazaki Prefecture.
There are "Takanabe Daishi and Mochida Burial Mounds" which have been selected as Miyazaki Prefecture tourism heritage, and there is a beach and a camp village in summer, and there is "Kaguchi-hama" where surfers gather all year round.
In addition, it has many tourist resources such as "Maizuru Park", which is adjacent to the town's art museum and history museum, "Machinaka Shopping Street" where the castle town feels, and "Gastronomy" such as natural oysters, gyoza, shochu and vegetables.
Please use this park as a base for sightseeing in Miyazaki Prefecture.
